About Me :)

Thank you to anyone taking the time to read this 🙂

I’m Lisa, married to “long-suffering husband” Jeff (his words not mine) 🙂 We have 4 children, plus about another 14 that regularly inhabit our household, usually when the football or rugby is on – or when I`ve made cakes 🙂  We share the household with our Jack Russell, Peppa and Jeff`s snooty Siamese cat, Kiera, plus a tank load of, well fish IMAG1114IMAG1106IMAG0215🙂

I`ve discovered over the years, just how bloody funny children and life can be – I`ve tried to encapsulate some of this humour in my blog 🙂

I am a complete and utter book-worm and love to read and write, anything that captures my interests.  I love anything that makes me stop and think and, as a consequence, alters my views.  I love posts that make me laugh and make me cry.  I feel it a privilege to read something that someone has written and l honoured if anyone reads anything I have written and takes the time to comment and let me know how it made them feel.

My favourite drink is Tea and my favourite food is, well, everything really 🙂

I look forward to communicating with you all 🙂

  1. Thanks for following my 80Insights blog. Our boys are now grown men with children of there own, but it’s amazing how many times we will recall and chuckle over something one of the boys did or said as youngsters. Kids are funny. Enjoy your family journey!

Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope you found something there that made you chuckle, briefly shed a tear that’s okay too, just so you found something maybe you can share with your kids that would make my day for me

It sounds like you like tea, me too.
Best wishes with your writing and I hope we all get something good out of Blogging 101.

    1. Thank you for stopping by and commenting 😊 the household is crazy but will be so empty when the boys move out later this year. I intend to drop into their place, sprawl on the sofa and demand to be fed 😄 have a good day x

Hi Jenny thank you for the nomination – I’m truly honoured xx I have to confess I have not a bloody clue what I do with it or how to put it on my blog but I promise to have a look and if nothing else – I will place it proudly on my invisible shelf and polish it regularly – with my invisible polish 😁

      1. My pleasure! Just follow the guidelines. 🙂 I saved the image to my computer then attached it to the blog. (I want to put them on my home page like the Blogging 101 badge but I haven’t figured that out yet.)

  8. I see you like to read. I have written a book and a half and would love to get your take on my writing. Can I get you to read and chapter and get some feedback? Let me know. By the way the cancer in my elbow is gone but the ache is there from the operation.

As you’re probably aware, I waffle to my hearts content – kids are so funny, as is life in general. I hope one day my children will read my wafflings and not be too pissed at me 😄😄😄
