Getting old! 😳

I just came back from food shopping.  There was a time when, if two young men stood close to me at the checkout I used to think they were flirting with me – now I assume they are going to mug me and steal my purse!

I’ve turned into a suspicious old woman, clutching my handbag and scowling at anyone who looks young enough to be my offspring! 😳

On the brighter side I’m on a mini hollibob again – 5 glorious days off whilst Jeff is working in France – 5 glorious days of clearing out cupboards, washing, ironing, cleaning and doing all those shitty jobs I don’t have time to do normally 😳  I’m also going to overdose on Orange is the New Black!

  2. Ha ha, I feel your pain! Last week I was walking to school to pick up our youngest who is 10, I was in short denim shorts and a t shirt, it was hot, A car passed with two young guys in it and they hooted their horn as they passed, I am sure when they went past they probably thought OOOOPS, why did we do that, they were both early 20’s!!!

    1. How funny 😄😄 but good on ya for wearing those shorts! 😄 I’ve never been confident showing my legs – not since 2 young lads said they had seen “better legs on a spider!” Little bastards – they weren’t laughing when they were upside down in a wheelie bin ……. 😄

  6. You know how to party, Girl. Wear something eccentric just for fun. It seems many of our blogging community took the last week off or away – me too. I fended off monster dust bunnies from beneath the wall unit. That’s it.
