This popped up on my Facebook memories today:
And the Mother of the Year Award goes to ………… Well, me – actually 😄
Lana asks me would I take her to the Park. I wiped the ice cream gently off her little chin, smiled sweetly and replied
“Of course I will – but don’t think I’m going to push you on the swings or anything like that!” 😄😄
Congratulations dear . Good to know this . Thanks for sharing this piece of joy with us .

It’s all good as long as she’s not only pushing you 😀

Ha! I’m more of a “going down the slide kinda gal” I need a big push because my bum gets stuck 😄😄

I feel ya, Lisa. I adore park outings with the grands. When I’ve had enough, I stagger toward a seat, hold my left arm across my chest and do my best to look ragged. Works on the parents most times 😀 It’s one of the few perks to getting older. Truth is I could outrun most of the kids – uh, except for the firefighter husband and wife. Oh, and the Sergeant Something and his retired Army wife… But I have it all over the toddlers!

I like feeding the ducks 😊 and I love seeing them having fun – but I like waving happily and nodding approvingly – from my bench 😄

Yubbers! When my guys were young-er, that was the only rest I got before midnight. In retrospect it’s charming. Back then life was exhausting.
