We all began as strangers to one another – all floating around in this Blogosphere. Β We all share our hopes and dreams, our worries and anxieties and hopefully share some fun and laughter – and yet, we all began as strangers ……….
I’ve not been here that long compared to some, a mere baby of 7 months π but during that time I feel I’ve found friendship and support and I hope I’ve given that back in return.
This post occurred to me when I realised earlier today that I had missed a few folk who I regularly communicate with. Β I actually found myself worrying whether all was well with them. Β I found that I genuinely cared whether they were ok. Β It suddenly occurred to me that although I had no idea of their full names, where they lived, I actually feel like I “know” these people and, like a friend, I genuinely cared about their well being.
No longer strangers but friends. Β Friends who live many many miles away, from all walks of life, with different outlooks, beliefs and opinions – but nonetheless – friends β€οΈ
So to all my friends floating around – thank you for enriching my life and making WordPress a lovely place to be π Β Have a lovely weekend, wherever you are, whatever you’re getting up to! π
And now that we’ve straightened that out and we are all buddies – can someone lend me a fiver till pay day! ππππ
This is such a sweet post! And I could totally lend you a fiver, ya just gotta come to Korea to pick it up π

If I could lend you the fiver I would and so would just about any other blogger. I completely agree with you about the blogging community. You’d be hard pressed to find a nicer group of people anywhere else. I’ve been blogging for 11 years and there are several people who have gone from being blog friends to real friends. I hope you continue to enjoy this wonderful community for many years.

I feel the same way…so grateful! I’ve already learned that people come and go, and yes, it’s hard not to wonder about them! As for me, I have a hard enough time remember everyone, but such a lovely journey. π

I think it would be a good idea to have a “holiday planner” where we could put our holiday dates on so no one worries if anyone goes AWOL πππ

Your blogs certainly make my day. I have noticed some bloggers are saying when they will be off our radar, and I think it is a really good idea. On another tack I went to the website of a blogger whose posts I really enjoyed, and she had cleared it, only the template was left. I hope she is alright. But please keep on with your blog, it is brilliant !

Friendships form in all sorts of ways. I’ve been friends with a blogger for over 10 years and still have never met him and yet I care about him and his partner, who I am also friends with a lot.

Which blog are you trying to reach? A Geek’s Eye View or A Geek Keeps Learning? And I don’t understand this “empty” thing… *big eyes* Is something wrong and I don’t know it?

I’m not sure – I clicked on your name and it came up with “unable to retrieve posts – blog empty”
Can anyone try it – it may be just me on my phone? X

I feel exactly the same way. I started blogging a year ago in January and have developed blogging friends along the way. Even my husband knows certain blogging friends, because I will be reading a blog, and playing the music inserted into the blog and my husband will say “is that your friend from Wales”, or if I find something super funny and I am chortling away, he will say “Are you reading your “Worried Mom” blog”?
I do worry about people when I don’t see them post after a certain amount of time, so I go visit them to make sure everything is okay. But I figure maybe they are erratic posters like me and have periods of nothing to say.
